TradersHuddle Mid-day Update: Dow Jones Lower Top Performers: KO, PG, JNJ

New York, July 2nd (TradersHuddle.com) - The Dow Jones Industrial Average is lower trading at 9658.4, which represents -0.76% versus its previous trading session close.
The blue chip index is sliding with only 4 Dow components trading higher.
Coca Cola (NYSE:KO) is the Dow's top performer this morning with the stock trading at $50.13 representing 0.2% versus the previous trading session. Shares of Coca Cola, the owner of one of the most valuable brands in the world have defined support at $50.26 and resistance at $53.08.
Procter (NYSE:PG) is also among the top performers early in the trading session, trading at $59.65 representing 0.18% from its previous close. Procter, the global consumer products company has calculated support and resistance levels at $60.05 and $63.95 respectively. The other top performer this morning is JNJ (NYSE:JNJ), which is trading at $59.14 representing 0.12% from the previous trading session.
The Dow's worst performers include Verizon (NYSE:VZ) that is trading at $26.77 or -4.84% from the previous close. Shares of Verizon, the owner of the largest wireless network with more subscribers in the U.S. have defined support at $26.80 and resistance at $29.47. Also among the worst performers we have General Electric (NYSE:GE), which is trading at $13.83 representing -2.06% from the previous trading session.
Benchmark crude for August delivery is also trading lower at $72.06 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange lower by $-0.89 from the previous trading session.
The Dow is underperfoming the S&P 500 but is pretty much equal with the NASDAQ composite. The S&P 500 is currently trading at 1021.06, which represents -0.61% from previous close, the Nasdaq on the other hand is trading at 2087.94 that represents -0.64% from previous session.
