Baker Hughes (NYSE:BHI) is the S&P 500's top performer this morning with the stock trading at $45.15 representing 6.74% versus the previous trading session. Shares of Baker Hughes, the provider of solutions for the oil and gas industry have defined support at $40.14 and resistance at $43.35. Massey (NYSE:MEE) is also among the top performers, and it is trading at $28.04 representing 6.58% from its previous close. Massey, the Richmond, VA based coal producer has calculated support and resistance levels at $25.85 and $33.2 respectively. The other top performer this morning is Peabody (NYSE:BTU), which is trading at $41.47 representing 6.36% from the previous close. The S&P 500's worst performers include Frontier Communications (NYSE:FTR) that is trading at $7.1 or -3.4% from the previous close. Shares of Frontier Communications, the Connecticut based rural and small to medium cities telecommunications provider have defined support at $6.96 and resistance at $7.72. Also among the worst performers Monsanto (NYSE:MON), which is trading at $45.43 representing -2.39% from the previous trading session. Benchmark crude for August delivery is also trading higher at $73.39 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange higher by $1.25 from the previous trading session. The S&P 500 is underperfoming the Dow Jones but is pretty much equal with the NASDAQ composite. The Dow Jones Industrial Index is currently trading at 9796.15, which represents 1.13% from previous close, the NASDAQ on the other hand is trading at 2119.35 that represents 1.32% from previous close. |
