Travelers - Worst Performing Dow Component

trv New York, July 22nd (TradersHuddle.com) - The Dow Jones Industrial Average is higher trading at 10323, which represents 2% versus its previous trading session close. The blue chip index is having a broad rally with only one Dow component trading lower.

Boeing (NYSE:BA) is the Dow's top performer this morning with the stock trading at $66.16 representing 4.72% versus the previous trading session. Shares of Boeing, the maker of the 787 Dreamliner have defined support at $61.68 and resistance at $65.78.

American Express (NYSE:AXP) is also among the top performers early in the trading session, trading at $42.72 representing 3.82% from its previous close. American Express, the credit card issuer and travel services company has calculated support and resistance levels at $40.46 and $44.43 respectively. The other top performer this morning is United Technologies (NYSE:UTX), which is trading at $69.46 representing 3.63% from the previous trading session.

The Dow's worst performers include Travelers (NYSE:TRV) that is trading at $49 or -1.74% from the previous close. Shares of Travelers, the property and casualty insurer have defined support at $48.17 and resistance at $51.64. Also among the worst performers we have JNJ (NYSE:JNJ), which is trading at $57.23 representing 0.19% from the previous trading session.

Benchmark crude for August delivery is also trading higher at $77.44 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange higher by $0 from the previous trading session.

The Dow is underperfoming the S&P 500 but is pretty much equal with the NASDAQ composite. The S&P 500 is currently trading at 1092.75, which represents 2.17% from previous close, the Nasdaq on the other hand is trading at 2238.57 that represents 2.34% from previous session.
