Seagate Is Hardware Makers Worst Performer

stx New York, July 23rd (TradersHuddle.com) - NetApp (NASDAQ:NTAP), the storage and data management solutions provider closed at 43.11, which represents 2.72% versus its previous trading session close. NetApp was the computer hardware index best performer today, it helped the sector adding upward pressure to overall technology shares, with the Technology Select Sector Spider (NYSE:XLK) trading 0.82% from its previous trading session close.

Technology shares traded flat with the S&P500, which traded higher by 0.82%.

The Index best performer, NetApp the storage and data management solutions provider, helped push the Computer Hardware Index (NYSE:^HWI) Higher by 0.68%. The index is had a broad rally with only 2 index components trading lower.

Also among the top performers, Lexmark (NYSE:LXK), the maker of printers and imaging solutions traded at $33.99 representing 1.64% Versus the previous trading session. Shares of Lexmark have defined support at $31.74 and resistance at $35.16.

Practically no Relative weakness in the index today, however today's worst performer was Seagate (NASDAQ:STX), with the stock closing at $12.79 representing -2.96% versus the previous trading session. Shares of Seagate, the largest maker of hard drives and storage solutions in the world have defined support at $12.50 and resistance at $15.28.

The other worst performer was Western Digital (NYSE:WDC), which traded at $28.02 representing -0.5% from its previous close. Western Digital, the maker of hard drives for computers and entertainment systems has calculated support and resistance levels at $12.50 and $15.28 respectively.
