Bank of America - Top Performing Dow Component

New York, July 30th (TradersHuddle.com) - The Dow Jones Industrial Average is lower trading at 10452.4, which represents -0.14% versus its previous trading session close.
The blue chip index is having a mixed day with half of the Dow components trading higher.
Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) is the Dow's top performer this morning with the stock trading at $14.17 representing 1% versus the previous trading session. Shares of Bank of America, the largest U.S. lender have defined support at $13.30 and resistance at $14.65.
Boeing (NYSE:BA) is also among the top performers early in the trading session, trading at $67.79 representing 0.85% from its previous close. Boeing, the maker of the 787 Dreamliner has calculated support and resistance levels at $61.68 and $69.75 respectively. The other top performer this morning is Alcoa (NYSE:AA), which is trading at $11.1 representing 0.73% from the previous trading session.
The Dow's worst performers include Merck (NYSE:MRK) that is trading at $34.34 or -2.05% from the previous close. Shares of Merck, the maker of Singulair and Zocor have defined support at $34.41 and resistance at $36.80. Also among the worst performers we have Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), which is trading at $25.67 representing -1.38% from the previous trading session.
Benchmark crude for September delivery is also trading lower at $78.07 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange lower by $-0.29 from the previous trading session.
The Dow is underperfoming the S&P 500 but is pretty much equal with the NASDAQ composite. The S&P 500 is currently trading at 1099.84, which represents -0.15% from previous close, the Nasdaq on the other hand is trading at 2252.45 that represents 0.03% from previous session.
