Smithfield Foods to Host Fiscal 2011 First Quarter Conference Call September 8

SMITHFIELD, Va., Aug. 10, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Smithfield Foods, Inc. (NYSE:SFD) announced today that the company will release its fiscal 2011 first quarter financial results on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
The company will host a conference call and live audio webcast at 9:00 AM ET to discuss the results. Participants can access the live call by dialing (866) 254-5941. The call will be webcast live at http://investors.smithfieldfoods.com/events.cfm and will be archived at this location. A telephone replay will be available at (800) 475-6701 and will be archived for two weeks. The replay access code is 167495.
