JBL® MS-8, Breakthrough In-Car Audio Digital Sound Processor, Wins EISA Product of the Year Award

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.-( Business Wire )-

HARMAN International Industries, Incorporated (NYSE:HAR), today announced that the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) has named the JBL® MS-8 “Best Product of the Year” for the in-car electronics category.

The prestigious EISA Awards are chosen annually by panels representing nearly 50 of the most prominent photo, video, audio, home theater and mobile electronics magazines from over 18 European countries. Every year, the EISA Awards applaud the newest products on the market that combine the most advanced technology, the most desirable features, the ultimate expression of design, the most satisfying ergonomics and the greatest value for their price.

Members of the judging panel described the JBL MS-8 as “providing a realistic soundstage to listeners in any seat of the vehicle’ and called it ‘a sophisticated device for sophisticated vehicles.”

“We are thrilled that the JBL MS-8 has been recognized by such a prestigious association not only in Europe, but around the world,” said Thijs Linthorst, general manager, EMEA, HARMAN.

The JBL MS-8 is a brand-new kind of car audio component designed to be added to your existing car audio system to make what you already have sound great. At the heart of the MS-8 is a powerful digital signal processor that maximizes frequency response, bass performance, dynamics, clarity, detail and stereo imaging in your car from any combination of factory-installed or aftermarket components.
