Research Firms Initiate:
Ball Corp (NYSE:BLL), the maker of rigid metal and plastic packaging products, was initiated with a Buy at Jefferies.
Bemis (NYSE:BMS), the U.S. largest flexible packaging maker, was initiated with a Hold at Jefferies.
BMC Software (NYSE:BMC), the system and service management software solutions provider was initiated with a Buy at Hapoalim.
Camelot Information Systems (NYSE:CIS), the provider of enterprise application services and financial industry IT services was initiated with a Positive at Susquehanna.
Citrix Systems (NASDAQ:CTXS), the only enterprise software company with end-to-end virtualization, was initiated with a Hold at Hapoalim.
Community Health (NYSE:CYH), the owner and operator of acute care hospitals in non-urban markets across the U.S., was initiated with a Hold at Soleil.
Health Management Associates (NYSE:HMA), the owner and operator of general acute care hospitals in rural communities, was initiated with a Buy at Soleil and a target price of $9.
LifePoint Hospitals (NASDAQ:LPNT), the operator of community hospital in non-urban areas, was initiated with a Hold at Soleil.
McAfee (NYSE:MFE), the antivirus software provider, was initiated with a Hold at Hapoalim.
Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), the largest software publisher in the world, was initiated with a Buy at Hapoalim and target price of $30.
Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL), the enterprise information management software provider, was initiated with a Buy at Hapoalim.
Owens-Illinois (NYSE:OI), the maker of glass packaging products, was initiated with a Buy at Jefferies.
Red Hat (NYSE:RHT), the world's leading open source technology solutions provider, was initiated with a Hold at Hapoalim.
Symantec (NASDAQ:SYMC), the provider of solutions to manage IT risk and maximize performance, was initiated with a Hold at Hapoalim.
Xcel Energy (NYSE:XEL), the electric and natural gas services provider, was initiated with a Neutral at JP Morgan.
