FOX's MASTERCHEF to Ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell

What:

Joe Bastianich, MASTERCHEF Judge on FOX (Nasdaq:NWS) (Nasdaq:NWSA) (ASX:NWS) (ASX:NWSLV),will visit NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square and preside over the NASDAQ opening bell to celebrate the new season of MASTERCHEF airing on Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. (EST).

Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay is looking for the best home cook in America on the new culinary competition series, MASTERCHEF. Only the most deserving home cooks who impress the judges, Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot will win the coveted white MASTERCHEF apron and move on to the next round of competition. Throughout the season, contestants will be put through their paces in a series of challenges designed to test their palate, food knowledge, passion and culinary skills both inside and outside the kitchen. The winner of America's first-ever MASTERCHEF will also walk away with $250,000 and will publish his or her own cookbook.
