Hewlett Packard - Worst Performing Dow Component

New York, August 20th (TradersHuddle.com) - The Dow Jones Industrial Average is lower trading at 10173, which represents -0.96% versus its previous trading session close.
The blue chip index is tumbling with only 2 Dow components trading higher.
Travelers (NYSE:TRV) is the Dow's top performer this morning with the stock trading at $50.12 representing 0.56% versus the previous trading session. Shares of Travelers, the property and casualty insurer have defined support at $48.64 and resistance at $51.64.
Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT) is also among the top performers early in the trading session, trading at $50.11 representing 0.1% from its previous close. Wal-Mart, the biggest retailer in the world has calculated support and resistance levels at $47.77 and $51.78 respectively. The other top performer this morning is McDonald's (NYSE:MCD), which is trading at $72.9 representing -0.1% from the previous trading session.
The Dow's worst performers include Hewlett Packard (NYSE:HPQ) that is trading at $39.63 or -2.77% from the previous close. Shares of Hewlett Packard, the maker of printers and personal computers have defined support at $39.95 and resistance at $47.83. Also among the worst performers we have Caterpillar (NYSE:CAT), which is trading at $67.58 representing -2.47% from the previous trading session.
Benchmark crude for September delivery is also trading lower at $73.29 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange lower by $-1.14 from the previous trading session.
The Dow is underperfoming the S&P 500 but is pretty much equal with the NASDAQ composite. The S&P 500 is currently trading at 1066.81, which represents -0.82% from previous close, the Nasdaq on the other hand is trading at 2166.4 that represents -0.58% from previous session.
