Regions Financial to Help Customers Meet Personal Insurance Needs Through Bank Branches
Published on Tuesday, 31 August 2010 09:11 Written by TradersHuddle Staff
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-( Business Wire )-In coming months, customers visiting any Regions Bank (NYSE: RF) branch will not only be able to find solutions for their banking needs but they will also have new options for their personal insurance needs.
Currently, Regions Financial provides solutions for personal lines of insurance to customers in select states in the company’s branch network – Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and Virginia. The service will come online for additional states in Regions’ footprint through a staggered, state-by-state rollout slated for completion by fall 2011.
“Regions Insurance is the third largest bank-owned insurance agency in the country, and partnering with the company’s bank branches just makes sense for Regions and our customers,” said Curren Coco, head of Regions Insurance. “As we roll out our personal insurance offering, Regions Financial can help customers take care of more of their financial needs.”
Earlier this year, Regions Insurance opened an Insurance Agent Call Center in Kokomo, Indiana. Personal lines insurance requests through Regions Bank branches are routed through the new call center. Personal lines of insurance available through bank branches include homeowners, renters, automobile, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, watercraft and a full range of specialty insurance products for personal insurance needs.
“Our non-commissioned, licensed agents in our center are there to find the right policy at the right price for each unique customer need,” Coco added.
