Kim A. Keck to Lead Aetna’s Middle Markets Business

HARTFORD, Conn.-( Business Wire )-Aetna (NYSE: AET) today announced that it has appointed Kim A. Keck, 46, to head Aetna’s Middle Markets business organization. Keck, who now leads Investor Relations and Treasurer’s, will remain in her current position until a replacement is named.
Keck has been with Aetna since 1988 and has served as head of Investor Relations and Treasurer’s since 2009. Before that, she headed the Treasurer’s, Controllers, Actuarial, and Tax organizations. She has a wide-ranging background and expertise in finance and business, having also served as head of Planning and Performance Management and head of Capital Management and Rating Agencies. She was chief of staff to Chairman and CEO Ronald A. Williams from 2005 to 2008. Keck has a B.A. degree in mathematics from Boston College and an M.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut. She will report to Frank McCauley, head of Aetna’s Local Employers and Consumers business. Aetna is currently conducting an internal and external search for Keck’s replacement.

Aetna’s Middle Markets organization serves business customers with between 51 and 3,000 employees. It represents approximately $9 billion in revenue and 3 million medical members.
