TEMPE, Ariz.-( Business Wire )-US Airways (NYSE:LCC) steps up to the plate for the airline’s third annual Dividend Miles Grand Slam promotion. Now through Nov. 14, frequent flyers who register for the Grand Slam at www.usairways.com/grandslam can score bonus miles - up to 100,000 - just for doing business with more than 100 Dividend Miles partners.
Dividend Miles members will earn a “hit” for each qualifying transaction with a participating Dividend Miles partner. Every time a member gets four hits, they’ll earn bonus miles in addition to the miles earned from that partner. The bonuses get bigger and better the more hits a member earns. Thirty-six hits equal a “Grand Slam” award, totaling 100,000 bonus miles. The award chart follows:
| Cumulative Hits | Cumulative Awards | ||||
| 4 Hits | 4,000 Miles | ||||
| 8 Hits | 8,000 Miles | ||||
| 12 Hits | 14,000 Miles (3,000 of which are Preferred-qualifying miles) | ||||
| 16 Hits | 20,000 Miles (6,000 of which are Preferred-qualifying miles) | ||||
| 20 Hits | 30,000 Miles | ||||
| 24 Hits | 40,000 Miles | ||||
| 28 Hits | 60,000 Miles | ||||
| 32 Hits | 80,000 Miles | ||||
| 36 Hits | 100,000 Miles |
Dividend Miles members wanting to take advantage of the Grand Slam promotion can earn hits by staying at a Hilton or Marriott property or renting a car with Avis or Hertz. Frequent shoppers can bank hits by shopping with a Dividend Miles partner. Ordering DVDs on Netflix, office supplies on officemax.com, sending their loved ones flowers through FTD or purchasing gifts from the Dividend Miles Shopping Mall catalog are just a few ways members can earn hits and miles. Members can also earn hits by using their US Airways MasterCard or a US Airways debit card. With more than 100 different partners, members have a variety of ways to earn miles this fall to use towards future travel.
“The Grand Slam is one of our most popular promotions and an excellent opportunity for Dividend Miles members to score big bonus miles,” said Fernand Fernandez, director of customer loyalty programs for US Airways. “Whether you’re a frequent shopper, traveler or fall somewhere in between, there is something for every Dividend Miles member. The more hits you get, the more miles you earn.”
