Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation Announces New General Counsel

HOUSTON, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation (NYSE: COG) today announced that G. Kevin Cunningham has been appointed to the position of General Counsel of the Company effective today.  Cunningham joined the Company as Associate General Counsel in November 2009.

Cunningham, age 56, is a University of Texas Law School graduate and has worked at Fortune 500 E&P companies in both legal and business positions since 1982.  His experience includes all phases of oil and gas project generation, development and operation in the U.S. and internationally.  "We are pleased to have an attorney with Kevin's broad experience join our senior management team," said Dan O.
