Upgrades and Downgrades (CRH, HPQ, RTP, VALE, PPL)

New York, September 2nd (TradersHuddle.com) – Following are some of the top upgrades and downgrades before the market open.
CRH Plc. (NYSE:CRH), the maker of cement, concrete products, aggregates, asphalt, clay bricks, and chemical lime, was upgraded to a Neutral from Underweight at JP Morgan.
Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ), the world’s largest PC maker, was upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at JMP Securities.
Rio Tinto (NYSE:RTP), the mining company, was upgraded to Outperform from Sector Perform at RBC Capital.
Downgrades
VALE
Companhia Vale do Rio (NYSE:VALE), the iron ore producer based in Brazil, was downgraded to Sector Perform from Outperform at RBC Capital.
PPL Corp (NYSE:PPL), the Allentown, Pennsylvania based electricity generator, was downgraded to a Hold from Buy at Citigroup.
