Semis Stocks Mid-Day Round Up - Higher: NVDA, TSM, RBCN

nvda New York, September 3rd (TradersHuddle.com) - The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index is trading higher at $324.44, representing 0.35% from its previous close. The semiconductor index is exhibiting strong upside with 19 index components on the plus side.

NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) is the top performer of the semis, trading at $9.8, which represents 2.4%. from the previous trading session. Shares of NVIDIA, the world leader in visual computing technologies have defined support at $9.30 and resistance at $10.20.

Taiwan Semiconductor (NYSE:TSM) is also among the top performers, currently trading at $9.68 representing 2.22% from its previous close. Taiwan Semiconductor, the largest dedicated semiconductor foundry in the world has calculated support and resistance levels at $9.32 and $10.60 respectively. The other top performer of the semis is Rubicon Technology (NASDAQ:RBCN), which is trading at $27.5 representing 1.85% from the previous trading session.

The semis' worst performers include Avago (NASDAQ:AVGO) that is trading at $20.82 or -1.09% from the previous close. Shares of Avago, the supplier of analog interface components for communications, industrial and consumer applications have defined support at $19.70 and resistance at $21.36. Also among the worst performers is Marvell (NASDAQ:MRVL), which is currently trading at $16.68 representing -0.77% from the previous trading session.

Today, the Semis are underperforming the broad market index S&P 500.
