Interactive Brokers - Worst Performing Broker

ibkr New York, September 3rd (TradersHuddle.com) - The overall market traded higher with the S&P 500 adding 1.32%. Stocks of Broker / Dealers also traded higher, with NYSE Broker/Dealer index closing the session at $104.54, which represents 2.55% versus previous day close. The index , it had 10 out of 10 components trading higher.

Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) was the top performer of the sector today, closing at $147.29 representing 5.37% versus the previous trading session. Shares of Goldman Sachs, the premier global investment banking and securities firm, have defined support at $135.79 and resistance at $157.25.

Jefferies (NYSE:JEF) was also among the top performers, closed the trading session at $24 representing 3.94% from its previous close. Jefferies, the independent full service global securities services and investment banking firm has calculated support and resistance levels at $22.22 and $24.90 respectively. The other top performer was E*TRADE (NASDAQ:ETFC), which closed the trading session at $14.13 representing 3.82% from the previous session.

The sector's worst performers include Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ:IBKR) that closed the trading session at $16.66 or 0.48% from the previous close. Shares of Interactive Brokers, the automated global electronic market maker and broker have defined support at $15.76 and resistance at $17.12. Also among the worst performers was Charles Schwab (NYSE:SCHW), which closed the trading session at $13.86 representing 0.65% from the previous session.
