Nomura - Best Performing Broker

New York, September 7th (TradersHuddle.com) - The overall market traded lower with the S&P 500 losing 1.15%. Stocks of Broker / Dealers also traded lower, with NYSE Broker/Dealer index closing the session at $102.54, which represents -1.92% versus previous day close.
The index , it had 1 out of 10 components trading higher.
Nomura (NYSE:NMR) was the top performer of the sector today, closing at $5.64 representing 0.18% versus the previous trading session. Shares of Nomura, the global finanicial services company based in Tokyo, Japan, have defined support at $5.47 and resistance at $6.07.
TD Ameritrade (NASDAQ:AMTD) was also among the top performers, closed the trading session at $15.25 representing -1.17% from its previous close. TD Ameritrade, the provider of online borkerage services for independent individual investors has calculated support and resistance levels at $14.53 and $16.05 respectively. The other top performer was Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS), which closed the trading session at $145.21 representing -1.41% from the previous session.
The sector's worst performers include Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) that closed the trading session at $25.67 or -3.71% from the previous close. Shares of Morgan Stanley, the operator of a global securities business have defined support at $24.24 and resistance at $28.05. Also among the worst performers was Raymond James (NYSE:RJF), which closed the trading session at $24.3 representing -2.61% from the previous session.
