New York, September 23^rd (Tradershuddle.com) – Shares of Novell (NASDAQ:NOVL) fell the most in the S&P 500 after its shares dropped 6.61% to $6.08.

Novell (NASDAQ:NOVL), the leading provider of infrastructure software, fell on reports the company was having a hard time selling its NetWare and identity management products because private equity firms would not pay Novell's asking price.

The stock moved downward, with high volume, as 9 million shares traded, 2.6 times Novell’s average volume of 3.5 million shares.

The stock's 52-week low is $3.84 and its 52-week high is $6.53.
