Allstate (NYSE:ALL), the car and homeowners insurance company was upgraded to a Buy from Neutral at UBS.
Barclays PLC (NYSE:BCS) was upgraded to a Buy from Add at WestLB.
Cincinnati Financial (NASDAQ:CINF), the Ohio based property and casualty insurer, was upgraded to a Hold from Sell at Deutsche Bank.
International Game Technology (NYSE:IGT), the maker of casino gaming computerized systems, was upgraded to a Buy from Neutral at Janney Capital Markets.
Itron (NASDAQ:ITRI), the provider of solutions for collecting, communicating, and analyzing electric, gas, and water usage data, was upgraded to a Neutral from Underperform at Robert W. Baird. The firm set its target price at $41.
Kindred Healthcare (NYSE:KND) was upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at Wells Fargo.
Lorillard (NYSE:LO), the Greensboro, NC tobacco company maker of Newport cigarettes, was upgraded to a Buy from Neutral at Davenport.
OpenTable (NASDAQ:OPEN), the restaurant reservation site, was upgraded to a Buy from Hold at Citigroup.
Plum Creek Timber (NYSE:PCL), the timber and forest products manufacturer was upgraded to a Neutral from Sell at UBS.
Perkin Elmer (NYSE:PKI), the technology provider to the academic, diagnostics and research markets, was upgraded to Outperform from Neutral at Mizuho.
RF Micro Devices (NASDAQ:RFMD), the maker of proprietary radio frequency integrated circuits, was upgraded to a Buy from Hold. The firm set its target price at $7.
Spreadtrum Communications (NASDAQ:SPRD) was upgraded to a Strong Buy from Buy.
TriQuint Semiconductor (NASDAQ:TQNT) was upgraded to a Buy from Hold at Needham. The firm set its target price at $10.
