NEW YORK-( Business Wire )-NAB Booth #N.5315 – At NAB2011, SintecMedia will introduce its fully integrated over-the-top (OTT) management solution: OnScreens. For the first time, OTT will be merged into broadcast management to provide a unique offering -- a single management system encompassing the entire media process. SintecMedia’s solution will handle everything from content planning and media preparation through advertising sales and distribution for linear and nonlinear platforms. OnScreens will eliminate the need to maintain separate applications for managing traditional television and new emerging forms of content distribution.
OnScreens is a new module of OnAir, the leading broadcast management system combining traffic, sales, and programming into a single framework. As a combined solution, it will enable networks, stations, and operators to deliver individualized content to multiple device types including televisions, tablets, and other hand-held devices through the new generation of set-top boxes and Connected TV. OnAir, utilized by some of the world’s leading networks including ABC, BBC, CBC, STAR and NBC Universal, will extend, with the new addition, standard TV services and advertising operations to multiple screens and platforms.
OnScreens will pack a suite of tightly integrated back-end utilities to manage various aspects of the viewer experience. It will provide an opportunity to create and manage personalized OTT portals with multiple catalogs for downloadable content, live channels, individualized content recommendations as well as the ability to maintain multiple screen formats to support various devices. OnScreens will enable networks to monetize the content made available through easily configurable PPV pricing schemes and advertising sales. The new module will also include a powerful customer care module.
“SintecMedia’s OnScreens solution will enable networks to enlarge their market share by extending their offering to new forms of content consumption, without having to rely on third parties dictating a $0.99 price point,” remarked Amotz Yarden, SintecMedia CEO. “OnScreens represents our continuous commitment to expand the offering to provide customers, with advanced tools for increased productivity and revenue.”
SintecMedia’s scalable OnAir all-in-one solution for broadcasters and media companies enables them to maintain their leadership in a changing media ecosystem by increasing revenues, maximizing opportunities and improving business operations. Working closely with customers, the company provides business solution software to keep them ahead of the market as they embrace emerging technologies and multi-platform content.
