New York, June 10th (TradersHuddle.com) - The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index is trading lower at $401.48, representing -1.99% from its previous close. The semiconductor index is tumbling with 26 index components on the negative side.

Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU) is the top performer of the semis, trading at $8.51, which represents 0.24%. from the previous trading session. Shares of Micron Technology, the dynamic random access memory chips maker have defined support at $9.43 and resistance at $10.23.

Power Integrations (NASDAQ:POWI) is also among the top performers, currently trading at $36.21 representing 0% from its previous close. Power Integrations, the maker of proprietary, high-voltage, analog integrated circuits for use in ac to dc conversion has calculated support and resistance levels at $34.57 and $37.60 respectively. The other top performer of the semis is Netlogic Microsystems (NASDAQ:NETL), which is trading at $36.21 representing -0.36% from the previous trading session.

The semis' worst performers include MEMC Electronic Materials (NYSE:WFR) that is trading at $8.58 or -5.56% from the previous close. Shares of MEMC Electronic Materials, the silicon wafers producer have defined support at $9.88 and resistance at $10.61. Also among the worst performers is STMicroelectronics (NYSE:STM), which is currently trading at $10.16 representing -3.33% from the previous trading session.
