Netflix - S&P 500 Worst Performer for the Week

nflx New York, September 17th (TradersHuddle.com) - The S&P 500 index closed the trading week higher at 1216.01, which represents 5.35% versus its previous week. The broad market index had a mixed week with slightly more than 50% of the S&P 500 components closing the week higher.

Textron (NYSE:TXT) was the S&P 500's top performer during the week with the stock closing at $18.63 representing 22.08% versus the previous weekly session. Shares of Textron, the maker of Cessna business jets and Bell helicopters have defined support at $14.81 and resistance at $17.10.

eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) also among the top performers for the week closing at $33.69 representing 18.38% from its previous week. eBay, the owner of paypal and operator of an auction marketplace has calculated support and resistance levels at $28.28 and $30.65 respectively. The other top performer this week was Rockwell Collins (NYSE:COL), which is traded at $56.21 representing 17.35% .

The S&P 500's worst performers for the week include Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) that closed at $155.19 or -23.92% from its previous weekly close. Shares of Netflix, the online video rental company have defined support at $198.62 and resistance at $241.88. Also among the worst performers this week is Juniper Networks (NASDAQ:JNPR), which is traded at $20.15 representing -6.1% .

The S&P 500 underperformed the Dow Jones but was pretty much equal with the NASDAQ composite. The Dow Jones Industrial Index ended the trading week at 11509.1, which represents 4.7% from previous week, the NASDAQ on the other hand closed the week at 2622.31 representing 6.25% from its previous weekly close.
