HOUSTON & SHANGHAI-( Business Wire )-PROS® (NYSE:PRO), a world leader in pricing and revenue management software, and Integritas Pacific – PROS reseller partner in China – conducted a business-to-business pricing optimization summit on Nov. 22 at the JW Marriott Shanghai. The day-long event attracted participants from industries including auto parts and heavy equipment, high-technology, medical devices and distribution.
The keynote address was delivered by Fan Oswald-Chen, Managing Director of Simon-Kucher & Partners’ Beijing office. Oswald-Chen provided participants with a strategic overview on pricing excellence, from price strategy to price setting and execution, and offered directives on how organizations can better compete across today’s global landscape by turning pricing into a strategic advantage.
Also headlining the day was Wilbur Reid with distributor S.P. Richards, a long-standing PROS customer, who shared with the audience how pricing optimization software improved his company’s business performance.
PROS Chief Marketing Officer Tim Girgenti delivered a presentation that provided extensive insights on how companies are able to improve revenue and profitability, defend and grow market share, and increase business agility through pricing optimization.
“We received an enthusiastic response from organizations that attended our Shanghai Pricing Optimization Summit,” said Girgenti. “Their interest clearly underscores that companies in Asia, just as in other geographies around the world, are looking to identify how they can compete in today’s competitive landscape amidst volatility in commodity and input costs, and fluctuating currencies. Every presenter demonstrated their own business experiences with pricing optimization software and its value as the best lever for identifying pricing opportunities.”
“Companies in China are hungry for next-generation technologies that provide the competitive business advantages offered by PROS,” said Integritas Pacific CEO Michael Zhang. “We are proud to be PROS reseller partner and to bring these outstanding pricing optimization solutions to our market.”
