Plum Creek Promotes Russell Hagen to Senior Vice President

Plum Creek Timber Company, Inc. (NYSE: PCL) announced today that Russell Hagen has been appointed senior vice president, Business Development. In this role, he will oversee the company’s business development activities, including acquisitions and dispositions, while continuing to manage the Energy and Natural Resource business.

“Russell has been an integral member of Plum Creek’s management team,” said Rick Holley, president and chief executive officer. “This appointment is in recognition of the value he has added to the company through his leadership, particularly in our Energy and Natural Resources business.”

Hagen began his career in 1988 with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC where he was a certified public accountant. He joined Plum Creek in 1993 as manager of internal audit and has since held positions of increasing responsibility at the company including director-level positions in accounting, financial operations, risk management and information technology. Prior to his current role, he also held vice-president level positions in real estate development and business development.

Hagen received a Bachelor of Science degree in business and accounting from Seattle University.
