FRISCO, Texas-( Business Wire )-Conifer Health Solutions, a leader in business process management for healthcare providers, announced it has been approved by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to administer the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. The HCAHPS survey, which will be offered as one of Conifer’s Patient Communications services, is the first national, standardized survey of patients’ perspectives of hospital care, designed to allow objective and meaningful hospital comparisons that support consumer choice.
Conifer can now administer HCAHPS surveys as part of its comprehensive Patient Satisfaction Surveys solution, providing hospitals with customizable tools to measure, monitor, and respond to patient feedback.
“With this new opportunity to administer the HCAHPS survey, Conifer can provide hospitals with a timely, actionable view into their patients’ experiences and perceptions,” said Dorothy Rubio, president of Patient Communications for Conifer Health Solutions. “Analyzing patients’ perspectives of their care can help hospitals improve care delivery and patient satisfaction, key factors in CMS reimbursement, while supporting patient retention and acquisition strategies.”
Developed by hospital operators for hospital operators, Conifer’s business process management solutions provide hospitals with seamless, customized support that improves patient communications and revenue cycle performance.
Conifer will be exhibiting at the 23rd Annual National Institute for Healthcare Improvement Forum, booth # 907, from December 4-7, 2011, in Orlando, Florida.
