QVC, Inc. Promotes Beth Rubino to Executive Vice President Human Resources and Workplace Services

WEST CHESTER, Pa., Dec. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- QVC announced today that Beth Rubino has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Workplace Services, reporting to QVC President and CEO, Mike George. Previously, she was Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Workplace Services. The promotion is reflective of Rubino's increased role in QVC's growing global business.

QVC, which just celebrated its 25th anniversary in the United States, has successfully expanded its industry-leading, multimedia retail model to markets around the world, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and most recently Italy. In addition to her global Human Resources role, Rubino will continue to oversee QVC's corporate communications, as well as its community affairs programs and corporate social responsibility efforts. Rubino joined QVC in 1995, and has held various leadership positions in the Human Resources organization. Previously she served as Vice President of Human Resources Operations and Services, and as the Director of Human Resources Training and Development.
Prior to joining QVC, Rubino served as General Manager of the Philadelphia call center for PECO Energy. She also served as the Director of Training, Management and Organization Development for PECO Energy.
Rubino earned her bachelor's degree in business from Ursinus College, in Collegeville, PA., and her master's degree in organizational development and training from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia. Rubino also received a certificate from the Executive Development Program at the Harvard Business School.
