NASDAQ 100 Mid-day Update: Lower Top Performers: NFLX, FLEX, TEVA

New York, December 12th (TradersHuddle.com) - The NASDAQ 100 Index is lower trading at 2280.23, which represents -1.66% versus its previous close.
The index is having an broad decline with more than 85% of NASDAQ 100 components on the red.
Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) is the NASDAQ 100's top performer today with the stock trading at $74.55 representing 5.16% from its previous trading session. Shares of Netflix, the online video rental company have defined support at $62.37 and resistance at $72.95.
Flextronics (NASDAQ:FLEX) is also among the top performers, and it is trading at $6.06 representing 2.63% from its previous close. Flextronics, the electronics manufacturing services provider has calculated support and resistance levels at $5.62 and $6.14 respectively. The other top performer of the NASDAQ 100 is Teva (NASDAQ:TEVA), which is trading at $40.79 representing 1.47% from its previous close.
The NASDAQ 100's worst performers include Applied Materials (NASDAQ:AMAT) that is trading at $10.57 or -5.67% from the previous close. Shares of Applied Materials, the provider of nano-manufacturing technology solutions have defined support at $10.16 and resistance at $11.34. Also among the worst performers PACCAR (NASDAQ:PCAR), which is trading at $38.17 representing -4.81% from the previous trading session.
The NASDAQ 100 is underperfoming the Dow Jones but is pretty much equal with the S&P 500. The Dow Jones Industrial Index is currently trading at 11953.4, which represents -1.89% from previous close, the S&P 500 on the other hand is trading at 1228.91 that represents -2.09% from its previous close.
