Teva - NASDAQ 100 Top Performer

New York, December 15th (TradersHuddle.com) - The NASDAQ 100 Index is higher trading at 2233.32, which represents 0.01% versus its previous close. The index is having a mixed day with slightly more than 50% of the NASDAQ 100 components on the green.

Teva (NASDAQ:TEVA) is the NASDAQ 100's top performer today with the stock trading at $42.48 representing 3.01% from its previous trading session. Shares of Teva, the largest generic drug maker in the world have defined support at $36.88 and resistance at $41.88.

Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) is also among the top performers, and it is trading at $20.95 representing 3% from its previous close. Electronic Arts, the video game publisher has calculated support and resistance levels at $21.22 and $23.80 respectively. The other top performer of the NASDAQ 100 is Vertex Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:VRTX), which is trading at $31.28 representing 2.42% from its previous close.

The NASDAQ 100's worst performers include Lam Research (NASDAQ:LRCX) that is trading at $37.51 or -4.99% from the previous close. Shares of Lam Research, the maker of semiconductor processing equipment have defined support at $41.14 and resistance at $43.67. Also among the worst performers First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR), which is trading at $31.92 representing -4.57% from the previous trading session.

The NASDAQ 100 is underperfoming the Dow Jones but is pretty much equal with the S&P 500. The Dow Jones Industrial Index is currently trading at 11905, which represents 0.69% from previous close, the S&P 500 on the other hand is trading at 1219.32 that represents 0.62% from its previous close.
