Fluor Awarded Base Operations Support Contract by U.S. Navy for Jacksonville-Area Bases

IRVING-( Business Wire )-Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today that the company was awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy to provide base operations support services at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville; Naval Station Mayport; Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, Jacksonville; and Blount Island Command. The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will have a maximum value in year one of approximately $40 million with a maximum total life time contract value of $318 million.
Under this new contract, Fluor will be providing base operations support services which includes: port services; supply; personnel support; facilities support; facility management/facility investment; utilities; electrical; water; wastewater; telecommunications; base support vehicles and equipment; and environmental services. Work will be performed at Navy bases and installations in the greater Jacksonville, Fla. area.
