OWINGS MILLS, Md., Dec. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Home Properties, Inc. (NYSE: HME) today announced its Baltimore area apartment communities have received multiple awards at the 15th Annual MMHA Star Awards as presented by the Maryland Multi-Housing Association, Inc.

The Maryland Multi-Housing Association, Inc. (www.mmhaonline.org) is a professional, non-profit trade association serving owners and managers of almost 137,000 rental housing homes in over 540 apartment communities that house over 140,000 families in Maryland. The Star Awards annually recognize apartment communities, service professionals, leasing professionals and property managers for significant contributions to apartment marketing and maintenance.
