Centene (NYSE:CNC) was initiated with a Buy and a target price of $47.50 at Cantor Fitzgerald.

Cree (NASDAQ:CREE), the maker of lighting-class LEDs, LED lighting, and semiconductor solutions for wireless and power applications, was initiated with a Buy at Needham.

Borg Warner (NYSE:BWA), the provider of engineered systems and components for automotive power-train applications, was initiated with a Buy at Sterne Agee.

Delphi Automotive (NYSE:DLPH) was initiated with a Neutral at Sterne Agee.

Ford (NYSE:F), the Dearborn, MI based automaker, was initiated with a Buy at Sterne Agee.

General Motors (NYSE:GM), the U.S. largest automaker, was initiated with a Buy at Sterne Agee.

Johnson Controls (NYSE:JCI), the maker of automotive seating and interior systems, initiated with a Neutral at Sterne Agee.

Lear Corp. (NYSE:LEA), the global supplier of automotive seating systems and electrical power management systems, was initiated with a Neutral at Sterne Agee.

LRR Energy L.P. (NYSE:LRE) was initiated with Outperform and a target price of $23 at Robert W. Baird and with Outperform at RBC Capital Markets. Also Wells Fargo initiated its coverage in the stock with Outperform.

Medidata Solutions (NASDAQ:MDSO) was initiated with Outperform and a target price of $28 at Morgan Keegan.
