New York, December 21st (TradersHuddle.com) - The NASDAQ 100 Index is lower trading at 2231, which represents -2.23% versus its previous close. The index is having an broad decline with more than 85% of NASDAQ 100 components on the red.

Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) is the NASDAQ 100's top performer today with the stock trading at $13.89 representing 10.94% from its previous trading session. Shares of Research In Motion, the Blackberry maker have defined support at $16.15 and resistance at $18.77.

Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN) is also among the top performers, and it is trading at $62.14 representing 1.6% from its previous close. Amgen, the biotechnology company has calculated support and resistance levels at $56.00 and $59.43 respectively. The other top performer of the NASDAQ 100 is Liberty Media (NASDAQ:LINTA), which is trading at $16.2 representing 1.25% from its previous close.

The NASDAQ 100's worst performers include Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) that is trading at $25.21 or -13.58% from the previous close. Shares of Oracle, the enterprise information management software provider have defined support at $28.50 and resistance at $32.24. Also among the worst performers Citrix Systems (NASDAQ:CTXS), which is trading at $57.5 representing -9.28% from the previous trading session.

The NASDAQ 100 is underperfoming the Dow Jones but is pretty much equal with the S&P 500. The Dow Jones Industrial Index is currently trading at 12043.2, which represents -0.5% from previous close, the S&P 500 on the other hand is trading at 1235.4 that represents -0.48% from its previous close.
