New York, January 3^rd (TradersHuddle.com) – Following are some of the upgrades before the market open.

Ann, Inc. (NYSE:ANN), the specialty women's apparel retailer, was upgraded to a Buy from Hold at Jefferies.

Atmel Corp. (NASDAQ:ATML) was upgraded to a Buy from Neutral at Goldman Sachs.

Cymer, Inc. (NASDAQ:CYMI) was upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Barclays.

Energizer Holdings (NYSE:ENR), the consumer goods Company maker of drycell batteries, flashlights, razors, and feminine care products, was upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Morgan Stanley.

Hologic (NASDAQ:HOLX), the maker of imaging systems focused on health for women, was upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Morgan Stanley.

Jack In The Box (NASDAQ:JACK) was upgraded to Top Pick from Outperform at RBC Capital Markets.

LSI Corp. (NYSE:LSI), the maker of integrated circuits and storage systems, was upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Barclays.

RPX Corp. (NASDAQ:RPXC) was upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Barclays.

Semtech Corp. (NASDAQ:SMTC) was upgraded to a Buy from Neutral at Goldman Sachs.

Sequenom (NASDAQ:SQNM), the genetic analysis products provider, was upgraded to Overweight from Neutral at Piper Jaffray.

Varian Medical (NYSE:VAR) was upgraded to Overweight from Neutral at JP Morgan.
