NASDAQ 100's Update, In focus:LIFE, BIDU, CTSH, NFLX, FFIV

New York, January 10th (TradersHuddle.com) - The NASDAQ 100 Index is higher trading at 2363.66, which represents 0.55% versus its previous close. The index is having a mixed day with slightly more than 50% of the NASDAQ 100 components on the green.

Life Technologies (NASDAQ:LIFE) is the NASDAQ 100's top performer today with the stock trading at $46.12 representing 8.14% from its previous trading session. Shares of Life Technologies, the global biotechnology tools company have defined support at $38.00 and resistance at $40.89.

Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU) is also among the top performers, and it is trading at $126 representing 4.9% from its previous close. Baidu, the largest Chinese Internet search engine has calculated support and resistance levels at $113.17 and $125.14 respectively. The other top performer of the NASDAQ 100 is Cognizant Technology Solutions (NASDAQ:CTSH), which is trading at $69.56 representing 4.38% from its previous close.

The NASDAQ 100's worst performers include Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) that is trading at $93.05 or -5.23% from the previous close. Shares of Netflix, the online video rental company have defined support at $67.61 and resistance at $74.58. Also among the worst performers F5 Networks (NASDAQ:FFIV), which is trading at $109 representing -1.35% from the previous trading session.

The NASDAQ 100 is underperfoming the Dow Jones but is pretty much equal with the S&P 500. The Dow Jones Industrial Index is currently trading at 12455.5, which represents 0.51% from previous close, the S&P 500 on the other hand is trading at 1290.76 that represents 0.79% from its previous close.
