NASDAQ 100 Round Up - Higher: FSLR, SHLD, DTV

New York, January 11th (TradersHuddle.com) - The NASDAQ 100 Index is higher trading at 2370.96, which represents 0.15% versus its previous close. The index is having a mixed day with slightly more than 50% of the NASDAQ 100 components on the green.

First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) is the NASDAQ 100's top performer today with the stock trading at $42.38 representing 9.31% from its previous trading session. Shares of First Solar, the largest maker of thin film solar modules in the world have defined support at $31.45 and resistance at $36.64.

Sears Holdings (NASDAQ:SHLD) is also among the top performers, and it is trading at $32.38 representing 6.3% from its previous close. Sears Holdings, the holding company that owns and operates the Sears and Kmart retail chains has calculated support and resistance levels at $28.89 and $47.33 respectively. The other top performer of the NASDAQ 100 is DIRECTV (NASDAQ:DTV), which is trading at $44.5 representing 3.42% from its previous close.

The NASDAQ 100's worst performers include Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ:URBN) that is trading at $24.45 or -16.87% from the previous close. Shares of Urban Outfitters, the owner and operator of Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie retail chains have defined support at $26.10 and resistance at $28.67. Also among the worst performers Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX), which is trading at $91.95 representing -4.05% from the previous trading session.

The NASDAQ 100 is underperfoming the Dow Jones but is pretty much equal with the S&P 500. The Dow Jones Industrial Index is currently trading at 12426.4, which represents -0.29% from previous close, the S&P 500 on the other hand is trading at 1290.5 that represents -0.12% from its previous close.
