New York, January 13th (TradersHuddle.com) - Research Analyst's early calls ahead of the bell.

Alliant Energy (NYSE:LNT) was downgraded to a Neutral from Outperform at Robert W. Baird. The firm set its target price at $28.

Xcel Energy (NYSE:XEL) was downgraded to a Neutral from Outperform at Robert W. Baird. The firm set its target price at $27.

VMware (NYSE:VMW) was downgraded to a Sell from Neutral at Citigroup. The firm lowered its target price to $80 from $87.

Shutterfly (NASDAQ:SFLY) was downgraded to Equal Weight from Overweight at Morgan Stanley.

Safeway (NYSE:SWY) was upgraded to a Buy from Hold at Jefferies.

Children's Place (NASDAQ:PLCE) was upgraded to Buy from Underperform at Bank of America Merrill

McDermott (NYSE:MDR) was downgraded to a Neutral from Buy at Goldman Sachs.

PulteGroup (NYSE:PHM) was downgraded to a Neutral from Buy at Guggenheim.

Beazer Homes (NYSE:BZH) was downgraded to a Neutral from Buy at Guggenheim.

Citrix Systems (NASDAQ:CTXS) was upgraded to a Buy from Neutral at Citigroup.
