JP Morgan - Worst Performing Dow Component

jpm New York, January 17th (TradersHuddle.com) - The Dow Jones Industrial Average is higher trading at 12546.7, which represents 1% versus its previous trading session close. The blue chip index is having a broad rally with only two Dow components trading lower.

United Technologies (NYSE:UTX) is the Dow's top performer this morning with the stock trading at $77.81 representing 2.27% versus the previous trading session. Shares of United Technologies, the maker of Otis elevators and Carrier air conditioning systems have defined support at $71.60 and resistance at $77.51.

Kraft (NYSE:KFT) is also among the top performers early in the trading session, trading at $38.4 representing 1.67% from its previous close. Kraft, the maker of Velveeta cheese and Oreo cookies has calculated support and resistance levels at $31.88 and $38.05 respectively. The other top performer this morning is Boeing (NYSE:BA), which is trading at $75.69 representing 1.47% from the previous trading session.

The Dow's worst performers include JP Morgan (NYSE:JPM) that is trading at $35.22 or -1.96% from the previous close. Shares of JP Morgan, the second largest U.S. lender have defined support at $30.42 and resistance at $37.05. Also among the worst performers we have JNJ (NYSE:JNJ), which is trading at $65.23 representing -0.04% from the previous trading session.

Benchmark crude for January delivery is also trading higher at $97.12 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange higher by $-0.1 from the previous trading session.

The Dow is underperfoming the S&P 500 but is pretty much equal with the NASDAQ composite. The S&P 500 is currently trading at 1300.52, which represents 0.89% from previous close, the Nasdaq on the other hand is trading at 2741.49 that represents 1.14% from previous session.
