Willis to Present at ABA Insurance Risk Management Annual Forum

MIAMI-( Business Wire )-Willis North America, a unit of Willis Group Holdings plc (NYSE: WSH), the global insurance broker announced today that experts from its Financial Institutions practice will present at the American Bankers Association (ABA) Insurance Risk Management Annual Forum at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel January 22 – 25, 2012.
This industry leading educational and networking event convenes the top financial institution risk managers from the ABA, along with insurance and legal experts to address the most pressing issues facing financial institutions today. This year’s theme Black Swans: Your New Normal? will focus on addressing real life solutions for both complex and still unknown risk management challenges.
Willis experts will lead a variety of educational sessions including:
- Cyber 101: Cyber liability is an evolving exposure for Financial Institutions as well as an evolving insurance product. New exposures stem from social media, increased insider threats and mobile banking, while merger and acquisition activity increase the movement of confidential information, databases and systems. Peter Foster, Senior Vice President, Network Security & Privacy, Media, Tech Professional and Intellectual Property National Resource, Willis North America will join a panel of experts to share strategies for addressing the many risks associated with cyber, coverage solutions, and policy structure.
- Insurance Industry Roundtable: This session features a discussion on the insurance industry over the next several years, looking at the new business models and competitors that may emerge as a result of the post financial crisis’ “new normal.” Michael White, Senior Vice President, Executive Risks Financial Services Industry Leader, Willis North America, joins an expert panel.
