SHANGHAI, Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- LitePoint, a leading provider of wireless test solutions, has announced that Gary Wang is joining LitePoint as Vice President and General Manager of its China operations, based in Shanghai.
The addition of Mr. Wang is part of the company's plan to expand its operations in China and East Asia with more regionally focused operations and customer service support to meet the needs of their growing customer base in the region.
"Gary brings several advantages to our customers and market. He has an in-depth understanding of our value chain, our technology, our value proposition and our customers' pain points. Gary has great relationships with many of our China customers and he's excited to take on the expansion of our China business," said Spiros Bouas, Chief Operating Officer at LitePoint.
Mr. Wang is not new to LitePoint. He was a part of the original LitePoint core team that designed, built and sold the company's first test systems. After leaving LitePoint, Mr. Wang spent several years with Texas Instruments and Atheros/Qualcomm building businesses from the ground up in key Asian markets.
Mr. Bouas added, "Gary has experience in both internal and externally facing roles, from concept, to development, to sales and support. He has the right experience and is a man of exceptional integrity who lives for challenges and who follows through on commitments." Bouas also confirmed that LitePoint's Taiwan organization will remain under the leadership of Taiwan General Manager, Jeff Lin.
