Americans are cooking at home more often, and busy schedules add to the pressure of needing new dinner ideas during the week.* Kraft Foods developed KRAFT FRESH TAKE to minimize the stress of meal planning but still deliver fresh and flavorful entrees that can be prepared quickly.
"Most families rely on the same few dinner recipes week after week, or they turn to takeout and drive-through restaurants to get a quick meal," says Arthur Sevilla, Brand Manager, Kraft Foods. "KRAFT FRESH TAKE offers a flavor upgrade to your go-to recipes like chicken or tacos. With minimal prep you could enjoy Chili-Lime & Panko tilapia tacos at your next taco night."
KRAFT FRESH TAKE is packaged in a compartmentalized bag that also serves as a "mixing bowl," requiring minimal preparation and no-mess cleanup. Simply open the bag to break the center seal, combine the cheese and seasoned breadcrumbs, coat the meat or fish and bake to the proper temperature. Whether used with poultry, pork or fish, KRAFT FRESH TAKE creates a crispy, golden brown crust on the outside that locks in flavor for a tender, juicy finish on the inside.
KRAFT FRESH TAKE can be used in a variety of ways, and each package includes several recipe ideas, such as:
- To fill burgers, meatballs and meatloaf
- Top casseroles like mac and cheese or roasted vegetables like Brussels sprouts
- Use as an ingredient in popular appetizers like stuffed mushrooms or artichoke dip
KRAFT FRESH TAKE comes in six varieties and is now available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.99:
- Southwest Three Cheese: A blend of garlic, cumin and red chili pepper combined with Colby, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses creates a zesty Tex-Mex meal with chicken, pork or fish.
- Italian Parmesan: For a classic Italian meal, add this blend of parsley, garlic, onion, Parmesan and mozzarella to chicken, pork or fish.
- Rosemary & Roasted Garlic: This blend of rosemary and garlic with mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan and Romano cheeses is a perfect seasoning for pork and adds delicious flavor to chicken and fish, too.
- Cheddar Jack & Bacon: Savory herbs, bacon, Monterey Jack, cheddar and provolone cheeses pair perfectly with chicken, pork and fish.
- Chili Lime & Panko: A mix of chili peppers and lime with Colby and Monterey Jack cheeses spice up fish and complement chicken and pork as well.
- Savory Four Cheese: This blend of feta, mozzarella, provolone and Parmesan cheese crumbles with roasted garlic and onion will create a savory burger or classic meatloaf oozing with cheese.
