TD Bank Employees Contribute More Than $2.2 Million to the United Way

TD Charitable Foundation donates an additional $1.5 million to support United Ways from Maine to Florida
CHERRY HILL, N.J. and PORTLAND, Maine, Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Employees from TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, contributed more than $2.2 million to the United Way through the bank's annual Employee Workplace Giving Campaign. To complement the bank's employee campaign, an additional $1.5 million was donated through the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank.

The employee contribution is a $1 million increase over last year's donations and will be distributed to 135 local United Ways within TD Bank's footprint from Maine to Florida. The record-breaking employee contribution highlights TD Bank employees' commitment to giving back to the communities where they live and work.
