Neutral Tandem Wins ATLANTIC-ACM 2012 Global Wholesale "Best in Class" Award for Provisioning

CHICAGO, Jan. 19, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Neutral Tandem, Inc. (Nasdaq:TNDM), a leading provider of global interconnection services, announces that it has received the ATLANTIC-ACM 2012 Global Wholesale Best in Class Award for Provisioning.The award recognizes Neutral Tandem′s leadership in provisioning network services to meet the wholesale communications needs of global carriers.

The awards are derived from data collected in the 2012 edition of ATLANTIC-ACM's Global Wholesale Carrier Report Card. This year marks the 12th year of this innovative, industry-wide research. This year's study is based on over 1,300 individual ratings of global telecommunications carriers by 300 of their wholesale customers. Ratings of over 80 global wholesale providers were compiled to offer wholesale providers an understanding of their market position on both an operational and product standpoint. The award for Best-in-Class Provisioning is based on survey respondents' answers to the following question: 'For each carrier with which you work, please rate provisioning based on your assessment of their ability to meet contracted date of installation.'
