TradersHuddle Mid-day Update: Dow Jones Lower Top Performers: BAC, HPQ, INTC

New York, January 23rd (TradersHuddle.com) - The Dow Jones Industrial Average is lower trading at 12676.5, which represents -0.35% versus its previous trading session close.
The blue chip index is having a mixed day with downside bias by having only 11 Dow components trading higher.
Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) is the Dow's top performer this morning with the stock trading at $7.28 representing 2.9% versus the previous trading session. Shares of Bank of America, the largest U.S. lender have defined support at $6.41 and resistance at $7.29.
Hewlett Packard (NYSE:HPQ) is also among the top performers early in the trading session, trading at $28.55 representing 1.49% from its previous close. Hewlett Packard, the maker of printers and personal computers has calculated support and resistance levels at $25.13 and $26.99 respectively. The other top performer this morning is Intel (NASDAQ:INTC), which is trading at $26.75 representing 1.4% from the previous trading session.
The Dow's worst performers include Procter (NYSE:PG) that is trading at $65.12 or -1.68% from the previous close. Shares of Procter, the global consumer products company have defined support at $61.00 and resistance at $65.50. Also among the worst performers we have McDonald's (NYSE:MCD), which is trading at $100.22 representing -1.49% from the previous trading session.
Benchmark crude for January delivery is also trading lower at $97.12 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange lower by $-0.1 from the previous trading session.
The Dow is underperfoming the S&P 500 but is pretty much equal with the NASDAQ composite. The S&P 500 is currently trading at 1311.07, which represents -0.33% from previous close, the Nasdaq on the other hand is trading at 2773.27 that represents -0.48% from previous session.
