Altera Lower Ahead of Earnings

New York, January 23rd (TradersHuddle.com) - Shares of Altera Corporation (NASDAQ:ALTR) are trading lower by -1.36% ahead of its
quarterly earnings release. Altera, the maker of programmable logic devices is expected to release its quarterly results on January 24th.
Wall Street Analysts consensus calls for a profit of $0.42 a share on $447.51 million revenue.
Altera estimates have a range of $0.1 a share. The high estimate calls for profit of $0.48 a share and the low estimate is calling for a profit of $0.38 a share, a year ago for the quarter the company reported $0.72 a share.
Altera Corporation (NASDAQ:ALTR) designs, manufactures, and markets programmable logic devices and associated development tools. The Company's products, include a variety of programmable logic devices and hardcopy application-specific integrated circuits. Altera serves customers primarily in the communications, computer and storage, industrial, and consumer sectors
