NASDAQ 100's Top Performers :LIFE, ILMN, ADSK

New York, January 24th (TradersHuddle.com) - The NASDAQ 100 Index is lower trading at 2430.62, which represents -0.27% versus its previous close. The index is having a mixed day with slightly more than 50% of the NASDAQ 100 components on the green.

Life Technologies (NASDAQ:LIFE) is the NASDAQ 100's top performer today with the stock trading at $47.28 representing 3.03% from its previous trading session. Shares of Life Technologies, the global biotechnology tools company have defined support at $38.00 and resistance at $47.30.

Illumina (NASDAQ:ILMN) is also among the top performers, and it is trading at $37.38 representing 2.93% from its previous close. Illumina, the provider of tools for DNA, RNA, and protein analysis has calculated support and resistance levels at $28.72 and $37.38 respectively. The other top performer of the NASDAQ 100 is Autodesk (NASDAQ:ADSK), which is trading at $35.49 representing 2.39% from its previous close.

The NASDAQ 100's worst performers include Perrigo (NASDAQ:PRGO) that is trading at $96.88 or -2.79% from the previous close. Shares of Perrigo, the store brand over-the-counter pharmaceutical products have defined support at $94.04 and resistance at $100.38. Also among the worst performers Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM), which is trading at $15.13 representing -2.77% from the previous trading session.

The NASDAQ 100 is underperfoming the Dow Jones but is pretty much equal with the S&P 500. The Dow Jones Industrial Index is currently trading at 12651, which represents -0.45% from previous close, the S&P 500 on the other hand is trading at 1311.41 that represents -0.35% from its previous close.
