Amgen Higher Ahead of Earnings

New York, January 25th (TradersHuddle.com) - Shares of Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN) are trading higher by +0.21% ahead of its
quarterly earnings release. Amgen, the biotechnology company is expected to release its quarterly results on January 26th.
Wall Street Analysts consensus calls for a profit of $1.23 a share on $3.92 billion revenue.
Amgen estimates have a range of $0.24 a share. The high estimate calls for profit of $1.34 a share and the low estimate is calling for a profit of $1.1 a share, a year ago for the quarter the company reported $1.17 a share.
Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN) develops, manufactures, and markets human therapeutics based on cellular and molecular biology. The company concentrates on the areas of hematology, cancer, infectious disease, endocrinology, neurobiology, and inflammation.
Other companies on the watch on this earnings event are Novartis AG NYSE:NVS and Sanofi-Aventis NYSE:SNY.
