Dow's Top Performers :DD, IBM, AXP

New York, January 27th (TradersHuddle.com) - The Dow Jones Industrial Average is lower trading at 12644.1, which represents -0.71% versus its previous trading session close. The blue chip index is having a bad day by having only 7 Dow components trading higher.

DuPont (NYSE:DD) is the Dow's top performer this morning with the stock trading at $51.07 representing 0.26% versus the previous trading session. Shares of DuPont, the life sciences company have defined support at $43.06 and resistance at $46.48.

IBM (NYSE:IBM) is also among the top performers early in the trading session, trading at $191.3 representing 0.17% from its previous close. IBM, the IT solutions and consulting services provider has calculated support and resistance levels at $177.35 and $192.31 respectively. The other top performer this morning is American Express (NYSE:AXP), which is trading at $50.01 representing 0.06% from the previous trading session.

The Dow's worst performers include Chevron (NYSE:CVX) that is trading at $103.52 or -2.88% from the previous close. Shares of Chevron, the second largest U.S. energy producer have defined support at $103.51 and resistance at $110.66. Also among the worst performers we have Travelers (NYSE:TRV), which is trading at $57.69 representing -1.72% from the previous trading session.

Benchmark crude for January delivery is also trading lower at $97.12 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange lower by $-0.1 from the previous trading session.

The Dow is underperfoming the S&P 500 but is pretty much equal with the NASDAQ composite. The S&P 500 is currently trading at 1313.33, which represents -0.39% from previous close, the Nasdaq on the other hand is trading at 2808.56 that represents 0.12% from previous session.
