Xerox Announces the 7600i® Multipurpose Flatbed Scanner

For photo enthusiasts or small and home offices looking for a color scanner that’s ultra slim, portable and easy to use, Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) today announced the Xerox 7600i, a compact flatbed scanner that conveniently plugs into their computer’s USB port.

Priced at only $99.99, the device can scan up to 1200 x 1200 dpi in 48-bit color and comes bundled with a suite of document and image management software that streamlines scanning processes.

Ease-of-use, one touch scanning

The Xerox 7600i scanner includes Visioneer OneTouch^® scanning technology to eliminate the multiple steps usually required to send scanned documents or photos to an application. With OneTouch scanning technology users can touch one button and complete the scanning task, not just launch the program.

The Xerox 7600i scanner includes three front panel buttons to scan, copy, and e-mail. The buttons are pre-configured at the optimal settings for these most common scanning tasks, enabling first-time users to begin scanning immediately. Users can quickly customize any of the buttons for even more functionality or to suit their own scanning needs and preferences.

Abundant software bundle

The Xerox 7600i comes bundled with software that includes tools to edit, crop and retouch scanned images and then organize the files into folders.
