Earnings Preview: Aflac

New York, January 30th (TradersHuddle.com) - Shares of Aflac, Inc. (NYSE:AFL) are trading lower by -1.84% ahead of its
quarterly earnings release. Aflac, the supplemental insurance company is expected to release its quarterly results on January 31st.
Wall Street Analysts consensus calls for a profit of $1.52 a share on $6.06 billion revenue.
Aflac estimates have a range of $0.2 a share. The high estimate calls for profit of $1.67 a share and the low estimate is calling for a profit of $1.47 a share, a year ago for the quarter the company reported $1.33 a share.
Aflac, Inc. (NYSE:AFL) and through its subsidiaries, provides supplemental insurance in the United States and Japan. Some of Aflac's products include accident/disability plans, cancer expense plans, short-term disability plans, sickness and hospital indemnity plans, and hospital intensive care plans.
